I'll be honest - we have been putting off our website relaunch for too long.
The whole story is a little longer than that - between hiring a website developer to upgrade our old site who ended up not being a good fit to deciding to transition over to Shopify to streamline our product fulfillment, a lot of things have delayed the relaunch of our site.
The Challenges of Communicating with Amazon Customers
For anyone who has spent time looking for the instructions for the Universal 3D Printer Enclosure because our site was down, I sincerely apologize. Until now, we have sold our products solely on Amazon, and Amazon has strict guidelines and rules for what we can and cannot do. We send automated messages with the download instructions to each email, but many of you (myself included) have turned off getting these emails in your Amazon account preferences. Another barrier has been that Amazon does not allow you to add website links to the Amazon listings, so we cannot directly link to the folder of files on Amazon. The only workaround that we have been able to find is to add a Build Guide to our listing, but it is difficult to find if you don't know where to look.
Benefits of Direct Communication via Email
Now that we have redesigned our website, we plan to make special offers to those who signup for our email list. As you can see on our site, we're currently offering 20% off our new DELACK enclosure for those who signup. Even if you aren't interested in the DELACK, it will be worth your time to signup since we will periodically offer discounts on our other products exclusively to our email list. This is another reason we decided to create our own website rather than relying solely on Amazon - we can now directly communicate with our customers without fear of having our account suspended.
My promise to you is that if you signup for our email list, we WILL NOT spam you with emails. I HATE spam email. It is one of my personal pet peeves. We will average roughly 1 email per week (probably less) with the only exception to that being when we launch a product. During a launch, we will give more frequent updates about the status of the new product, but we will likely never exceed 3 emails in one week. Again, we will not send you an email unless we feel it's important. Honestly, we would rather work on creating new files for you all than crafting repetitive marketing emails. We believe that great product designs will market itself, so we prefer to spend most of our time doing that.
